Choosing a formula
Before you buy
If your question is which two products to start with, the answer is almost always the Essentials Duo — serum and light cream. Everything below assumes you would rather have the detail.
Light or Rich — how do I choose?
Both creams carry an identical dose of AVL SOM3®; the difference is texture. If your forehead shines by mid-afternoon, choose Light. If your cheeks feel tight after washing, choose Rich. If both are true, use Light in the morning and Rich at night — about a third of our customers do.
Where should I start if I only buy one thing?
The Face Serum. It carries the highest concentration and it is the step the clinical files are built around. The creams seal it in and add their own dose; the mist makes it absorb faster. None of them replaces it.
I am in my thirties. Is this too early?
Collagen synthesis begins slowing in the mid-twenties, so no. But at thirty-five the honest recommendation is serum and one cream, not the four-step ritual.
Can I use it with retinol or acids?
Yes. Amino acids are not exfoliants and do not compete. Apply AVL to damp skin first, wait, then your retinoid at night. If your skin is already irritated, resolve that before adding anything.
Is it suitable in pregnancy?
The formulas contain no retinoids, no salicylic acid and no essential oils, which is why they are commonly used during pregnancy — but ask your own clinician rather than us.

How long before I see anything?
Twenty-eight days of twice-daily use is the tested interval. The consistent pattern is little visible change for the first two weeks, then a fairly sudden legibility around day twenty-one to twenty-five. If you are three weeks in and unconvinced, you are where the data says you should be.
What does clinically tested mean here?
Independent assessment on 1300+ people with VISIA® facial imaging at fixed intervals, not a consumer-perception panel. Full summaries ship with every order and are available on request beforehand.
What if it does not work for me?
Sixty days, opened, half-used, however it is. Email us and we refund the purchase in full including the delivery you paid. No form, no photographs, no restocking fee.
How long does a bottle last?
Three drops twice daily gives about eight weeks from the 30 ml serum. The 15 ml eye cream lasts closer to four months; the 100 ml mist about three hundred applications.

Where does my order ship from?
Dublin. We hold full stock in Ireland rather than drop-shipping, which is why next-working-day is realistic on the Island of Ireland
Do you offer a consultation?
Yes, complimentary and by email or phone. Describe your skin and your current routine; you will get a specific recommendation, frequently for less than you were about to spend.
Is the packaging discreet?
The outer box carries a plain label with no product names, which matters for gifts and for shared post.
